First Dentists In The Region To Receive The COVID-19 Vaccination

We are proud to announce that Drs. Matthew Breit and Ronald C. Staples were among some of the first dentists in the region to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. We hope that our efforts show our confidence in the science in which this development was able to come to fruition. We also want to pay homage to Dr. Kizzmeka “Kizzy” Shanta Corbett, a viral immunologist at the Vaccine Research Center (VRC) of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institutes of Health. She currently serves as the lead scientist of the VRC’s Coronavirus Team which researched and developed the COVID-19 vaccine. It is through her, and others, a valiant effort, and genius that this vaccine is available to help save the world. This also shows what our girls can do if we give them the opportunity and resources to develop to their fullest potential.
